third site is located in Almuñecar, overlooking the crystal-clear
and calm Mediterranean. It is considered one of the prettiest and
most picturesque spots of the "Tropical Coast of Granada",
- a mountain landscape rolling down to the sea where avocados, custard
apples, mangos, papayas, medlars, bananas and guava grow. The heart
of the old town is laid out with parallel streets radiating from
the plateau at the top of the hill on which the city was originally
built. These days the town spreads along the coast and provides
numerous amenities for shopping, cultural activities as well as
water sports and general sports. The area along the Costa Tropical,
especially Almuñecar and La Herradura, is becoming increasingly
popular with foreign residents. |

Our fourth is the perfect park home for those who feel they want
everything. This park "Gateway to the Alpujarra" is perfectly
situated, near the town of Orgiva, between the panoramic mountains
of the Alpujarra and the luxurious beaches of the "Costa Tropical"
in a valley of one hundred year old olive trees. Here it really
is possible to ski in the mountains in the morning and swim in the
sea in the afternoon. |
