One of the main attractions of the site at Balcon de Pitres is its easy access to cities, airports and the coast.
The nearest village to the site is Pitres itself, about a 10 minute walk from the site.
It is a quiet village but has everything you need. Local shops, a couple of reasonably priced hotels, restaurants and bars. Visitors say that you can do just about any activity you like from Pitres and the local "fiestas" are certainly worth experiencing

The Site
This is an ideal spot of outstanding natural beauty where one can relax and get away from it all safe in the knowledge that the actual site is looked after by a caring team of people who put your security and welfare as a priority.
The site itself blends in beautifully with its natural surroundings and each plot is well sized depending on the size of your home. With the careful planting of trees and hedges, plots retain a significant amount of privacy as well as good views of the surrounding countryside.

The site has excellent amenities including an amply supplied supermarket, a laundry, a coffee bar and restaurant where you can enjoy wholesome, reasonably priced food including a different menu each day. In the evenings you can join in the fun and get to know people at the on site bar which looks out across the valley, or take a short stroll into the local village.
The site also has a beautiful swimming pool which takes in views of the surrounding countryside, making it the ideal spot to relax whilst enjoying the panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada mountains.

Various sized plots are available by negotiation from 100m2 to 200m2.
The cost of these plots is 17€ per square metre per year.

Pitres is the nearest village a short stroll, 0.2 km, from the site.
Motril is the nearest big town, 35 km, 45 minutes by car
Granada the nearest big city, 75 km, 1hr 15mins. by car
Malaga: 80 km. At the moment it takes 2½ hours to get from Malaga airport but with part of the new road opening in February this time will be cut to less than 2 hours.

Nerja: 60 km
Marbella: 130km


Buses can also stop at the main entrance of the site and there is a public bus stop 200 metres from the site.

Telephone lines, internet and satellite TV can be installed to homes. Costs vary and are available by request at site reception. Internet access is also available via reception.

Clients are not required to change their home on a periodic basis (as in the UK for example). If homes are maintained properly they may remain onsite indefinitely.

Subletting is permitted & services are available via reception. Full key management and letting services are available free of charge via reception.
